This section will house guides for players with various accessibility needs.
Each guide will be written from the personal perspective of or in consultation with people with a disability or chronic illness who LARPs. They will include suggestions for accommodations as well as tips for getting the most out of a game. As with the guides for organisers they are not comprehensive and only contain suggestions – what works will vary from individual to individual.
Because these guides need to be written from the perspective of an individual with specific accessibility needs, there are only a couple of guides for now. However, we will be adding more and we also encourage you to contact us if you would like to write or collaborate on a guide for your disability. If you would like to contribute to a player guide then take a look at the submission guidelines.
Remember, accommodations are not about making the game easier for disabled players. It’s about making it no more difficult than for other players.
