In January I was told about a vintage Braille writing machine that was for sale online. After some record fast fundraising among Access:LARP supporters we were able to buy it and add it to the Access:LARP resource store.
I took some time to learn how it work and research a little about Braille. It turns out that the Stainsby Machine, though old is in great working order and simple to use. This means that producing Braille for Access:LARP and for our events is now 100% easier than before.
Access:LARP will be offering the machine for hire for organisers who want to set their own documents as well as providing a Braille setting service for individual documents.
To find out more about the Machine and my plans on how to use it, follow the link bellow to watch the full demonstration video.
